COMMERCIAL LEAD

Wade is the Commercial Lead at ResourcesWA and is a skilled commercial analyst with expertise in financial and economic analysis, specialising in energy projects and major infrastructure (ports, roads, rail).

In his previous role at Westport, Wade coordinated a robust business case for a multi-billion dollar port project including economic forecasting, cost benefit analysis, the assessment of infrastructure funding and procurement options, and financial modelling. Wade also worked at the WA Treasury where he advised on investment decisions and government policy in relation to Synergy, Western Power, and Horizon Power. He has advised on major capital works programs, power purchase agreements, asset sales and commercial ventures. Wade has also contributed to the setting of energy tariffs and subsidies, and the preparation of regulatory submissions to the Economic Regulation Authority (ERA).

Wade holds a Master of Finance with Distinction from Curtin University, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Wollongong, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder. His expertise in financial modelling, economic analysis, and strategic financial advising, particularly in the energy and infrastructure sectors, marks him as a leading professional in his field.
