CONNOR HIBBLE

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Connor is a mechanical engineer at ResourcesWA with a background in engineering and finance. He has a strong understanding across the hydrogen value chain, having completed his Master’s thesis on hydrogen liquefaction.

At ResourcesWA, Connor researches, designs and optimises energy systems combining engineering design and techno-economic analysis to identify economic incentives for emerging energy technologies.

Connor recently completed the Australian renewable fuels study for BHP and is  currently leading the design of the Homestead Renewable Energy Hub project. This project aims to support mining companies to leverage innovative energy generation and storage technologies that are both economically attractive and sustainable to support their movement towards decarbonisation. He has graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Science (Engineering and Finance) and a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering.
