BENJAMIN COOPER

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Ben is an Electrical Engineer at ResourcesWA with a background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and finance. He recently completed his studies in electrical engineering with a focus on the implementation of renewable energy systems. In his previous position, Ben worked on the electrification of diesel-powered mining equipment, as well as the implementation of hydrogen powered systems.

Ben has a passion for extracting powerful insights from large datasets, recently completing a thesis that used underwater echosounder data to determine sediment concentration and underwater visibility.

Ben is a graduate of the University of Western Australia, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Finance, and a graduate diploma in Electrical Engineering.
